Service Delivery

• Snow removal is completed via snow blowers, battery operated bristle brush attachment, and shovels
  

• The service area includes AREAS MENTIONED IN YOUR QUOTATION

• Areas not included: ROADWAYS and PARKING LOTS

• One site visit per day – crew on-site until service is completed. Additional on call service available at flat rate.
  

• 3 Bags of ice melt (20 kgs per bag included), additional bag required will be invoiced at $28.00 per bag
  

• We do not provide ice removal services. Ice build-up forms as a result of freezing rain or snow, drainage issues, compaction or the thaw/freeze cycle. When ice accumulates, our snow removal equipment (snow shovels, snow blowers and plows) are unable to break it up.
  

• If you need ice broken up it is an extra billable service, please contact the office or email

 

Limitations of Liability

• we cannot be held liable under any circumstances for the work performed or failure to perform work under this service agreement
  

• specifically, we are not responsible nor can we be held responsible for slip and fall incidents or for damage to property under this service agreement

• we  assume no liabilities or responsibilities for any cracking, breaking, puncturing, depressing, or any other damage to any driveway, patio, or other paved, bricked, stoned, concrete, or asphalted surface which may result from trucks and equipment being used to access the job site

Snow Placement and Piles

Cleared snow will be placed on your property at the crew’s discretion. Following heavy accumulations of snow, space can become limited, and it is understood that snow piles can interfere with your listed service areas, or otherwise interfere with access or parking on your property. Given the challenges of winter, our company does its best but cannot commit to honoring client requests regarding the location or placement of snow under any circumstances. Removal of snow from your property and relocation of snow on your property is not included in this agreement.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Transcend Ventures Inc. makes every effort to provide exceptional service throughout the year. To this end, we need a little help from you. It is our desire to deliver your services as quickly, efficiently and safely as possible. The following are our guidelines to help accomplish these goals.

This document serves as a binding agreement between the property owner, hereby identified as “client,” and Transcend Ventures Inc., and its agents, owners, employees and subcontractors, hereby identified as “Company,” for the execution of services in exchange for payment for landscape and or exterior building maintenance services.

PAYMENTS

Payment for Snowblowing and de-icing services is to be paid within 30days of the service date.

Prices are shown in CAD. Transcend Ventures Inc. reserves the right to change prices of the services, in which case advance notice shall be given

We accept Cheques, Cash, and Interac e-transfer

A service charge of $50.00 will be charged for any NSF cheque

Payment is due at the completion of each job unless alternate arrangements have been made and initialed on the service agreement (see above).

OUTSTANDING ACCOUNTS

Transcend Ventures Inc., reserves the right to attach a builder’s lien against a homeowner’s property for non-payment. At 30 days past due, a formal notice of intent to file this lien will be sent via registered mail. Interest rate of 2% per month begins accruing after day 31 of non payment. Transcend Ventures Inc., also reserves the right to enter into civil claims court to collect outstanding debt. All legal fees incurred will be added to the remaining unpaid balance. This contract is binding. The Customer will be responsible for all costs of collection, including without limitation, builder’s lien costs, administration fees, court costs and/ or reasonable attorney’s fees in the event that it becomes necessary for Transcend Ventures Inc. to resort to legal measures to collect any amount owed under this agreement.

CANCELLATION POLICY

• If you change your mind, you must notify us as soon as possible. Any outstanding debt will be due within 30 days of cancellation. If your account is paid in full, a full refund will be issued less any services that have been rendered prior to cancellation.

• Rudeness, verbal abuse and physical abuse towards staff members of Transcend Ventures Inc. will absolutely not be tolerated and will result in immediate termination of your contract without refund.

• It is your right to cancel this agreement at any time within 10 days of signing without penalty.

• You may cancel a scheduled visit if informed 24hours before the scheduled visit without any penalty. Please note there will be a $150.00 cancellation fee if the crew is already on their way or is already at the property for a scheduled service.
  
  

Permissions

Client or his/her agent agrees to allow Company on the property for the purposes of contract agreed upon. Client understands that there is no set time frame for the completion of services and several visits to the property may be required. Company also has the permission to visit the property with little or no notice to assess service needs prior to the date of service, as well as to check completion after services have been rendered.

Corrections of Damages

Transcend Ventures Inc. shall only be obligated under this Contract for structural damages which are a direct result of operator error, gross negligence, or willful misconduct. Damages must be discovered and reported within 3 calendar days of said completion. Upon receipt of written notice The Company shall be allowed 30 calendar days from date of receipt for the purpose of inspecting the premises. Transcend Ventures Inc. shall have sole option of repairing or contracting repair work to correcting any structural damages that are a direct result of the Company.
